<span style="color:red">Megan Silea:</span> The lights themselves get 5 stars. They are beautiful and they work wonderfully and they look great. The app, however, isn't as great. We initially hooked up 1 decor, 2 pathway lights, and 2 strings of lights. That was fine and we had zero issues. Then we added 2 more strings of lights and the app lost its mind. On my phone (Galaxy S7 Edge) the app REFUSES to connect to all 7 items. It SEES them all, but it will not connect to 1 item. That item changes - the app is not consistent. Sometimes it's a string of lights, sometimes it's the decor piece... but it WILL NOT connect to that one thing no matter what I do. When I reset the lights it doesn't make any difference; it still sees all 7 items but only connects to 6. On my husband's phone, however (Galaxy S6), the app works beautifully. I don't get it. I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling the app, and every combination of resetting bluetooth/the app/the lights I can think of. It just will not work properly on my phone with these 2 new strings of lights added. It doesn't make me love the lights any less, but it is rather maddening.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Russ Peters:</span> App Lights Very disappointed in both the Snowflake and the Kaleidescope. Constant problems with connection and password reset. By the time I get it resolved it will be 2017. But I can agree that at $60 a set should be better. Custom color selections should have been a given, "software update please". A timer option would also be nice but unless you're controlling device is always in range I don't think it's as simple as a new software version. But again at $60 I would have expected this to have been built-in. They are fun and neat but I will be waiting for the next version to get more. Lot of potential cool idea.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Tim Burton:</span> Galaxy Note 4....worked good when first set up. After that, alot of trouble reconnecting with or without a passcode. Resetting doesnt help. It keeps disconnecting and it is very hard to connect back. Keeping them up year round and love the fact they come on at dusk and off at dawn. Der. Well worth the 60 bucks. No app problems here. Need to have full control of colors and wave, choices. The color effects are very nice but you are limited to choosing from a just few preprogrammed effects.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">tim aparicio:</span> Neat but could be way better I like how I can control the color of the lights, but the app should be updated to allow custom shows using custom colors and patterns. Followed the directions, will not connect. I've tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, nothing happens. No on/off switch, can't turn it on/off in the app because it won't connect. Then would only change a few of the bulbs after that.
