Misha B: App doesn't work on Note 3. I loved the app on my galaxy S2 but I can't even get it to open on my Note 3.

Dennis Cunningham: Audit SUCK Every time I use the app I get audited by an employee. I'm ready to delete it ans use the in store scanner.

Matt Morris: Loved the app but it does not work on the Nexus 5

B. W. Behling: Utterly worthless If you're thinking that this app will speed up your shopping trip, think again. You would expect this app to work just like the regular Scan It! hand scanners in the stores, and to a certain extent, it does. Where it falls flat on its electronic rump is when it comes to checkout. Now, the app will not run unless the stores self checkout lanes are open, so it's obvious the two are intended to work together. But when you get to the checkout and try to actually pay for your order it won't let you. No, it tells you that the order has to be completed at a different register. WTF? I spoke with the store manager on duty when this happened and she agreed with me, it's the dumbest thing Giant has ever done. If you try to check out through self checkout then the cashier manning the self checkout lanes has to manually scan the order with her portable scanner, meaning, if the store is busy, you're going to be standing there waiting and holding up the line for quite some time. And forget about canceling the order and just manually scanning everything through the register scanner, you can't! It won't let you cancel the order until the cashier scans her card first. UNINSTALLED!!

Frank Shannon: Seems to work now Previously gave this 1 star due to the reboot issue. A few weeks ago my Verizon Galaxy Nexus received its OTA 4.2.2 update. I just tried the app today and it works wonderfully.

Karen Murphy: Scanner is horrible I have a Samsung Galaxy S4. This program doesn't work well with the autofocus camera. I spent 1-2 minutes trying to scan each item I wanted to purchase, then at checkout it took me about 5 minutes to get the scanner to read the barcode so I could finish and pay. Going back to the handheld store scanner. Really wanted to use this program but it's time consuming. The exact opposite of what it's supposed to do.

Marie From B-more: Doesn't want to check me out. This app does a wonderful job of scanning items and telling me about sale items in the store but when it comes time to checkout, it fails. Even the cashier can't figure out why the app fails to complete my transaction. When I scan the barcode to complete the transaction, the app tells me I need cashier assistance to finish. I have to enter my bonus card number. When I do that, the app seems to freeze and doesn't do anything. I've tried it twice and the same thing keeps happening. I'm disappointed.

Tim Currie: Almost perfect If you scan your card before scanning the bar code at the register it doesn't work and voids your transaction. Really annoying. Sometimes I'll scan the bar code but it won't go through and ill scan my card then its all f'd up.

Mario Stylianou: Awful, unusable app On my S4 this takes nearly 30 seconds to scan one item. After I finally endure this over a shopping trip, I try to scan the checkout barcode... To no avail. 5 minutes later I give up and rescan everything myself. Final insult, really. Maybe it's just my phone but this is an awful, unusable app that clearly did not go through any quality review.

Kathryn Jett: WORST APP EVER! Do not even waste your time downloading this app. Twice now at the end of the grocery session it would not let me check out , and of course there were people behind me so I had to leave the line and start over again with a regular cashier. The first time I gave it another chance but the second time it happened was unacceptable. Even the two employees that try to help me said that that happens all the time and to just use the wand.

Anya Dornak: Great App Wonderful app works just as advertised. Too bad all Giants do not have the Scan It system. Waiting for my local Giant to come on board.

Barry Graham: Amazing The only improvement to get 5 stars would be to allow checkout by phone, with coupons stored in my account instead of on paper receipt, and export credit card transaction to Quicken Mobile or send an email receipt. Can't believe people complain about privacy, if that bothers you then don't use it, get rid of your phone and go and live on the moon!

John Fratini: Easy Works better than the store scanners..

Ivan Pour: Very Buggy Just loaded this on a new Samsung Galaxy phone and it doesn't work. Major upgrade needed.

Wendy Kulacki: It worked well on the phone....problem is you still have to upload to giants scanner so it is a waste of time.

mikayla Crawford: Need to be fixed Every time I add something to my list it start me at to top I'm tired to scrolling back down to the place I left off.

Kirsten Coombs: Not working in store It initially connected in the Columbia store but then lost signal. Couldn't use it. :(

August Vanderdonckt: Reboot loop on Nexus Reboot loop fixed. Works great now.

Gucci Envy: Sometimes it freezes and doesnt scan everything when you use rapid scan

Lori Teachum: You did it right! The app is perfect. Works better than the Scan It guns. Now it connects to an internal Wifi, so my phone is quick & with wireless. Sooo much better nnw. Even the special offers pop up with the "ding" sound. It's well thought out and I am impressed. Now I don't have to remember to pick up a Scan It gun at the front of the store.

Dan Stay: Needs work Have used in two different locations. Wifi drops, takes a while to reconnect, then wont scan anything more. I have to transfer to the guns to finish shopping. I like the idea, but this thing needs work.

Jacqueline Fossett: Better than store scan it gun!! I have had problems with the store scan it gun. I really love it on my Android phone much better. All the coupons work also and It works great at store 348 in Clarksville Md.

kenton thompson: Issues with Android Jelly Bean Just like a previous review, when clicking 'yes' to connect to 'Scan It' wifi network, the phone reboots continously. Makes the app unuseable. I'm using a Nexus S4G with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean)

jim wittkamp: Reboot loop on nexus Great idea but back to the drawing board. Terrible for nexus.

Martin T: Poor design & privacy concern Take forever to hook to the stores Wi-Fi then fails to scan anything. Only support is by phone during work hours and its not linked from the app. You have to write it down then call. Finally, with all your data passing through the stores Wi-Fi and no privacy agreement rest assured they are taking everything you do. Can they track your movement in the store? Don't know, but when the can they will. Uninstall. .

Jim Smith: Need to add shopping list!!! This app is great. I use the Scan it guns all the time, but this is even better. I would love to see a shopping list added to this app so I could have everything in one place. Just something simple would be great. When I scan something it marks it off my list.

Katrina Brown: Add Crofton Maryland store. Sounds like a great app, I use the scan guns in store now. Also, could you add a shopping list function like Out Of Milk?\tMnnbb

Renan Augusto: My store added. Now, need to review Thanks for adding my store.

Steve Kelley: Perfect! Couldn't have been easier! A fantastic app!

Stephen Coster: It works Great

Amy Baggott: Store scanners are easier I found myself having to rescan items multiple times only to have it tell me to wait and scan the item at checkout. Now the new update wants permission to make calls from my phone without my telling it to? Whatever for? This intrusion is beyond the pale, and I've uninstalled the app.

Tom Rogers: Worked up until check out The handheld devices were not working in store so I tried the app despite bad reviews. All worked fine until I was getting close to check out then the scanner stopped working. No scanner, no check out. Had to get in line and do the whole thing again. won't use the app again but the hand held scanners are great when they do work.

Jeff Taylor: Instant disappointment The app seemed to install fine but, when I start it, the app never really starts. Before anything is displayed, it crashes. I tried to uninstall it & re-install it but it still doesn't work.

Rich Caserta: Dundalk store should be cleaned out Doesn't even begin to work in Dundalk. If the scanner devices are out, it's all out. . Surprised the registers work.

Mario Borgnia: App is ok, but disconnects you from the Web I don't mind lending my phone to Giant instead of using their scanners. I do mind that they disrupt my communications by providing a captive LAN with no access to the Internet. In that way, they render my phone unable to access the web, PREVENTING ALSO COMPARATIVE SHOPPING.

tiffani h: Galaxy S2 Great concept. Sucks that I can't find my "preferred" store so it made doing everything that much harder. It was iffy and I found it only worked if I used it at a store that was on the list. Considering the closest store on that list is a good 15 miles away, yet I have 3 within 4 miles of me;I deleted the app and use self checkout. Still a bit inconvenient. But at least, I don't waste time scanning everything once for this app and the rescanning when it fails to go through.

Dorsey Shreve: PRIVACY WARNING - Forces STORE Wifi Switches ALL of your phone's data to route through the store's wifi, with no easily findable privacy policy of what *MY* data traversing your network will be used for, that it will be kept private AND anonymous. Having been developed by a marketing company, this is a SEVERE issue! I'm here to buy food, not hand over every ounce of data you can glean from my phone!

Richard Dahlberg: Battery Hog It is consuming 23% of my battery and you can't turn it off. I don't shop Giant 24/7/365 and the app shouldn't run all the time. Had to uninstall. I view this as an irresponsible build. I can't confirm the following part because I'm not reinstalling but my free RAM increased by 300MB after uninstalling so it may be a RAM hog too.

Latia Walker: Doesn't work I have a Note 4 and have no issues with service. But this app would not connect to the store Wi-Fi.

Steven Sundell: This was the 3rd time I tried your app Every time I tried it I got network issues. But I am looking at other users using it on other devices.
